Potable Water Primary Containment Applications
Layfield has provided geomembranes, floating covers, and baffle curtains for potable water applications for many years. We provide everything from large municipal potable water ponds to small prefabricated drop-in tank liners. We routinely perform robotic and diver inspections of covers and reservoirs and can install curtains and liners inside concrete reservoirs and tanks.
Layfield specializes in the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of floating covers for potable water. As part of that specialization we also provide geomembranes for ponds, reservoirs, and tanks. We have a range of potable water rated geomembranes available including our Enviro Liner specialty geomembranes. We manufacture and install baffle curtains in clearwells and reservoirs to improve flow characteristics. We also provide cleaning and maintenance services for all potable water installations including floating cover inflation, disinfection, pond cleaning, and reservoir lining and repair.
