Layfield Environmental Systems is the company name for our geosynthetics installation business. Our installation crews can install, maintain, and repair all types of geomembranes and floating covers. Our staff are trained in the safety procedures necessary to work in refineries, gas plants, potable water reservoirs, and most types of civil construction projects.
Layfield is capable of design build, general contract, and subcontract installation for all of its major material types. With our specialization in geosynthetics we can provide design assistance with geomembranes, floating covers, and soil reinforcement; often saving you money on your project costs. Our installation crews are based in Edmonton, San Diego, and Toronto and operate across North America.

Installation for Floating Cover Applications
Layfield’s San Diego-based construction group is a recognized leader in the design and installation of floating covers. We provide floating covers across North America into all types of applications. We are especially skilled in the design and installation of potable water floating covers and have completed many large covers in the California market.
We feature the installation of our entire REVOC line of floating covers including Defined-sump and Cable-tensioned, Insulated, Biogas Collection, Algae Control, and Evaporation control covers. We also provide scheduled inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of floating covers.
