Leak Inspection Services for Containment Applications
Leak inspection survey assessments can find leaks in geomembrane impoundments in a variety of applications. Leak testing can be used as a final check of installation quality, as part of a maintenance program, or as an inspection tool when problems are detected in a facility.
Layfield has three leak inspection survey types available. The water survey is the most accurate and can find leaks in pond with exposed geomembranes. A soil survey is used to detect leaks in buried geomembranes. A water lance survey can be used on exposed liners where filling the pond with water would be impractical or on the slopes of exposed liners when doing a water survey. There are some limits to the technology of leak surveys and not all impoundments can be surveyed. Contact our service group for further details.
