Solids Containment Applications

Liners have been used in landfills for many years however there are many types of solids containments. Layfield provides liners and other materials for all solids containment applications. In a typical landfill there is usually a liner that consists of multiple layers of geomembrane and drainage materials, a landfill cap, and often erosion control materials to stabilize the cap when complete. Layfield can provide all of these types of materials as well as the installation and maintenance services to handle any application.

 

Layfield provides liners and covers for many types of solids containments such as landfills, heap leach pads, ash pits, slag heaps, tailings ponds, sludge ponds, and sulfur blocks. Layfield was the first company to provide geomembrane liners for sulfur blocks and has experience with all aspects of sulfur containment.
