Layfield provides a number of products for both long term flood control and emergency flood control. We have been active for many years providing liners for storm water ponds and dams and geotextiles and other products to reinforce storm water channels and run-off ditches. Now we also provide emergency flood control with our unique Aqua Dam flood control dams.
Our featured product for flood control is our Aqua Dam flood control dam. We stock a 3’ (1 m) dam that can be rapidly deployed to hold back 28” (0.7m) of water. These dams deploy rapidly with minimal resources and are removed after a flood without requiring significant cleanup. The biggest issue in flood control dams is to work with Layfield to make sure sufficient dams are available in time for your predicted flood crest.
