Layfield's EPDM material is a nominal 45 mil thick non-reinforced elastomeric waterproofing liner used in recreational, commercial and industrial water containment applications. This liner material is specially formulated for long term exposed (& backfilled / buried) applications as it has excellent U.V., ozone, oxidation and cold temperature resistant properties. In addition, EPDM's excellent elongation and lay flat characteristics make it ideal for installing on irregular shaped pond sub-bases.
Layfield offers the only EPDM on the market that is NSF approved for potable drinking water with ANSI/NSF-61 Drinking Water contact certification. EPDM is also suitable for most fish and all aquadic plants.
