The treatment of sewage and manure contaminated water in order to recycle water is often done using large ponds. These ponds give the naturally occurring bacteria time to degrade the nutrients in the water. Sewage or manure water treatment ponds can be aerobic (aerated) or anaerobic (covered) depending on the treatment style. Layfield provides liners and covers for sewage and other water treatment ponds.
