Layfield has provided services for many years for the military and defence markets. We have installed most of the landfills at the former DEW line site cleanups over the past 15 years as well as many of secondary containment liners for airfields and radar sites throughout Canada's north. Layfield also has a long association with the American military working on water and waste water facililties in bases in California.

 

Key products for military and defence applications include our complete line of geomembranes and secondary containment liners. We can also provide geotextiles, geogrids, and other construction materials for any project. We also have a dedicated service group that can inspect and maintain water, waste water, and secondary containment facilities as part of a scheduled maintenance program. We also have Geoweb and other unique construction products for the construction of temporary airstrips and facilities in remote sites.
