There are many different materials available that can offer excellent service in many applications and we feel that specifications that encompass a variety of products are in the best interests of the user. Layfield will participate with regulators in specific geographic or product areas as appropriate. Layfield has been active in a number of specification developments. Most notably Layfield (formerly CW Neal) was part of the development of the Reservoir Floating Cover Guidelines developed by the California/Nevada section of the AWWA. Currently Layfield is participating in the development of ULC S668 Secondary Containment Liners for Aboveground Flammable and Combustible Liquid Storage Tanks (Canada).
