This section covers a few of the unusual materials available from Layfield. The Polyurethane materials (PUR 30 and PUR 32) are usually called for in situations that require very good resistance to fuels and exceptional strength. This material can be used in vertical applications as it will support it's own weight over a significant height.
There are many other materials that can be provided for your lining needs. Layfield has access to a wide variety of materials including Hypalon, Polyurethane, many grades of PVC, alternate thicknesses for most materials, and specialty geomembrane materials. Some of these products require a minimum order quantity.
PVDF 30 is a specialized, premium secondary containment material. Situations where PVDF 30 would be recommended include full concentration of Benzene, Toluene, and Zylene, elevated temperatures up to 177°C (350°F), or secondary containment of hot chemicals which would damage conventional secondary containment lining materials. Usually a PVDF 30 containment area would be quite small due to the high price of the material.
EPUR 23 is an ether based polyurethane which offers good chemical resistance and excellent cold temperature properties. EPUR 23 is a great choice when chemical resistance is required in an arctic climate environment.
