Enviro Liner® 8000 is the new series of geomembrane materials available from Layfield that combines the strength of a fabric supported material with the chemical resistance of a polyethylene. This is a unique combination not previously available. The new Enviro Liner® 8000 provides high performance at a reasonable cost for all fabricated geomembrane applications. A key application for Enviro Liner® 8000 materials will be for floating covers. Enviro Liner® 8000 is ideal for small floating cover applications such as gas collection, evaporation control, and odor control covers. Enviro Liner® 8000 will give us the opportunity to prefabricate one-piece floating covers for many agricultural and industrial floating cover applications. Enviro Liner® 8000 will also provide excellent containment. The strength of the fabric supported material combined with the excellent chemical resistance of the coating will allow Enviro Liner® 8000 to be used in many pond liner applications. Prefabricated liners reduce field seam requirements and speed construction.
