Most people know Layfield as a supplier of geosynthetics such as geotextiles, geogrids, silt fence, and other road construction products. Over the years we have provided many products for road construction such as water pit liners for asphalt plants, liners for the construction of water treatment wetlands, bridge pier coffer dam liners, and many other specialty products.

 

But Layfield is also a service provider for a few specialized road construction services. We provide design assistance for geosynthetic reinforced retaining walls and steepened slopes. If you are designing grade separations we can help you with your designs and estimates. We also provide wick drain installation services. Prefabricated vertical drains (wick drains) are used to add drainage to foundations under embankments and bridge abutments. The wick drains speed consolidation and help to accelerate construction schedules.
